You took a sick day yesterday and spent the day at home with your dad. You were actually sick, but I know you also needed that extra day with him. It was nice to see you excited to be with him again, you haven't seen as much of him as you are used to in recent months and there have been times where he's come over to pick you up, only to go home without you because you changed your mind at the last minute.
And every day I remind myself how incredibly lucky we are that your dad is in your life. So many single mom's/dad's don't get to say that.
